Buffie Nguyen is a Vietnamese illustrator working in Berlin. She is passionate about education and doing work that allow her to contribute meaningfully to her local community. Buffie has experience teaching creative classes to children 8-13 years old and fundamental drawing skills to adults.

In addition to her bachelor degree in illustration, she has always been an enthusiastic self-learner. This means Buffie has a solid understanding of drawing, painting, and animation fundamentals, with a fluency in a variety of mediums including oil, gouache, watercolor, acrylic, colored pencil, graphite, charcoal, and more. She is also competent at industry-standard programs such as the Adobe Suite, Affinity programs, and Procreate.

Aside from technical know-hows, Buffie has also accumulated her fair share of soft skills. She is a warm and personable colleague, who is one of those weird people that actually enjoy administrative and logistic tasks. Give her a spreadsheet to make or an event to organize and she’s sorted for the day.

Below you will find a specific selection of Buffie’s works that demonstrate her artistic “hard” skills that can apply in an educational context, her usual portfolio can be found in other sections of this website.
